Food was okay but our waiter was terrible. At the end, he lied to us, insisting that the TVA added to the bill did not cover his tip. He was insistent and held our credit card u til we
added tips. I complained to the manager as we left and he said the tip was included in the TVA. I should have insisted on a refund but it was late and we had an early plane to catch the next morning. The only terrible waiter we encountered in our five day trip to Paris.
I plan to contest the charge when I return home on the basis that the waiter lied and was rude and coercive in forcing us to tip.
